Photo Friday – Taking Aim

When I need a reminder to take aim at my own dreams, this is the picture I’m drawn to.

The aim needed to use a bow and arrow is only part of the message. The other is the importance of overcoming fears. The bow can be an intimidating and even scary tool. It’s unlikely you’ll hit the target on the first try. It’s equally unlikely you’ll improve without taking the first step. The same is true for reaching my goals, the outcome won’t always be on target but if I at least try and take aim at my dreams I’m taking steps in the right direction.

This photo reminds me of the importance of trying. Trying to reach my goals, trying to become better for myself and those around me.

Inspired Life Action:

Acknowledge a personal goal or dream that seems too enormous to tackle. Now identify one step that will help you take aim at that goal. It doesn’t need to be a humongous step, just one that moves you in the right direction. Commit to taking that action this week. This image is one of the more than 92,000 digital images in my personal photo collection. My love of photography and preserving memories is what led me to develop customized photo organizing services. To schedule your photo organizing consultation email me: linda@unclutterednw.com
