Organizing is easier when you’ve got the right tools for the job. As a professional organizer with more than two decades of experience, I have a list of tried and true products I’ve recommended and used with clients for years.
Each month I’m sharing one of my favorite things with you to help maximize your organizing efforts.
3.5” File Tabs
Everyone has their own system for organizing office files. Earlier this year, I outlined a hanging file system that works for many of my clients but that system only works if you can identify the items in the folder.
I recommend swapping out the original tabs that come with most file folders for larger 3.5” file tabs. You might not think it makes much difference, but size does matter when it comes to being able to read a label. As we get older, we often prefer (or need) larger fonts. The larger file tab provides additional space which makes it easier to read. Keeping tabs legible keeps your organizing efforts on track and your files where they need to be.
